reliable local removalists to help you with your move.
A: Yes! Protection of your belongings during a move and whilst in storage is essential, and Hooks Storage Units is your one-stop solution.
We stock a full range of locks, archive, moving and storage boxes and packaging materials to make your next move easier and safer, and your
storage organised and simple.
A: We do not automatically insure your goods at Hooks Storage. Most household policies do not cover goods in storage or transit. In the
unlikely event that something should happen to your goods you would be responsible as you are solely responsible for the storage of your
goods. If it’s worth storing it’s worth insuring!
A: You can pay through Cash, Cheque, Master Card, Visa, EFTPOS, Centrepay and Direct Credit. Payments can also be made in person, and over
the phone.
A: Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the
motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.

An outdoor unit is most a drive-up unit, located at ground level that gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle
or truck. An inside unit is within the property and will require you to go inside to access your unit.
A: The office hours are the hours of operation for the property. During these hours the Facility Manager will be available to assist you
with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. The gate hours are the hours of the property, and when your unit can be accessed. If
you require access outside of our standard gate hours please call or drop into our office to make arrangements.
A: You should contact our office directly to let them know and to discuss what can be done.
A: We will only allow someone else to access your space with written authority from you, and so long as they also have an access code.
A: Absolutely. If the unit size you want is available at our facility, you can move into another unit. Just call our office and we can make
the easy switch for you.
A: Our units do not have access to electrical power.
A: Hooks Storage normal access hours are from 6.00 am to 7.30 pm - 7 days. Our office is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and
9am-11am most Saturdays.
A: Yes. We have designed and built Hooks Storage with special amenities to serve both clienteles.
A: Hooks Storage has worked extremely hard to insure we have the most modern security and management systems, including:
• CCTV surveillance cameras
• Individual storage unit alarms
• Electronic entry and exit gate systems
• 24/7 Keypad access
• Security-fenced perimeter
• Internal and external aisle lighting
A: Hooks Storage has an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each individual tenant. The
code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facility.
A: You can purchase a new lock at Hooks Storage Self Storage. We recommend and sell Able High Security Heavy Duty Brass Self Storage Locks:

A: During office hours, please report the issue to the manager onsite immediately. If you notice the issue after office hours, please call
our main number and leave a message.
A: You can cancel your reservation by visiting the facility during office hours. The Manager will be able to assist you with this.
A: Since our rental agreements are a month to month contract, if you occupy the unit at the first of the month, you are obligated for that given month. We require a minimum 2 week notice (14 days) before the end of the month when you are vacating. We ask that you stop in or call our office. On your scheduled move-out day make sure the unit is completely empty, your lock has been removed and the store manager has inspected the unit.
